Take another look at the sentence:

Leroy has read travel books about every exotic country imaginable but refuses to ever visit in person. He worries that he might be stinged by a poisonous spider, bitten by a deadly snake, or convinced to order pickled monkey brains at a restaurant because he doesn't understand the language.

The second verb, might be stinged, is the problem. This verb requires the past participle because of the auxiliary verbs might and be. Might be stung is the correct form.

Bitten, the verb you chose, is perfectly correct. Before you continue, review the rules for irregular verbs.
